x71 Spectral – Filterless multispectral camera

The x71 is the world’s first filterless multispectral camera that enables pixel-precise imaging between 365 and 1,100 nm with a resolution of 71 MP without refocusing and fixed aperture.
As a system, the x71 series closes the gap between pure UV photography and infrared photography beyond 1000 nm.
The x71 is a new and innovative tool for scientific and material-technological analyses, for forensics and for the comprehensive documentation of works of art. Work genesis, authenticity or condition – with the help of the x71, up to 11 images in the most diverse wavelength ranges and their combinations can be generated within a few seconds in fully automated processes, depending on the model.
The x71 is a development of Microbox GmbH in professional cooperation with xatra GmbH.

ColorGuide X – Colour chart for pigment analysis

The ColorGuide X is an indispensable tool for the non-destructive analysis of pigments in connection with multispectral photography. The most important pigments used from antiquity to the 20th century can be found on the ColorGuide X.
The property of the pigments to reflect light of different wavelengths differently allows a quick localisation of found pigments on artworks by direct comparison with the ColorGuide X.
The individual high-quality pigments from Kremer GmbH & Co. KG were rubbed on with the glass runner and bound with gum arabic on rag paper without any optical brighteners.
The pigments on the ColorGuide X were measured by colour spectrometry and analysed element-specifically.

MagicBacklight X

With our MagicBacklight X, glued backs or watermarks of laminated objects can be made visible, especially in the case of graphics, drawings and archives. It is possible to make the structure and watermarks or even writings and drawings on the glued backs of paper on thick cardboard visible. Can be combined with all system cameras.
